The British Columbia Real Estate Association has recently published its forecast for both 2013 and 2014 real estate trends. It makes for interesting reading and may even help you to make a decision regarding your real estate needs. Click here to view the report.

 

The Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board also tracks the overall activity for all regions. In our case, this includes Whistler and Pemberton. As you can see, for detached homes, May seems to be the busiest of months for listings but sales were highest in June, just in time for families to settle into new communities before school started in September.  

 

 

 

 

The pattern seems to repeat itself for attached homes, which includes townhouses and duplexes.

 

 

Apartments, however, seemed to break from the pattern, with January and June showing the most listings and the most sales occurring in February.
